My daughter Alivia wanted her hair colored red for her 19th birthday she a natural dirty blond. She had some preexisting color already green and blue. We had a consultation about her hair and choose to lighten it first taking a step by step process. We used level 2 developer only lifting the hair that was previously colored. 2 level of lifts did a great job all the blue and green were gone. We waited several days from her consultation Alivia was aware that her hair would be a orangish color. I personally think it's better to color hair in a step by step process taking days in between. Alivia changes her hair frequently.
It was time to color. We went to Sally's on 300 w. the picture my daughter showed me was a red violet she choose a RV brand Wella (I've used this brand before and I've never liked it, I was not disappointed). IT SUCKED! Also keep in mind I used a 4 n from another brand (I cant remember the name) as a base because we lifted my daughter and she a natural blond. Her color was lacking Color! it was orange not red and no violet at all it also looked washed out. So now what? Freakout....b mother fucking f's.....tears and blood?!................no hardly. The picture above is her rocking that orange color on Christmas. So it's the 26th her birthday! We headed to Salon Centric downtown Salt lake. Alivia changed her mind to red only red. Second time around was a charm. Alivia was happy and her hair is red! Red! Red!
I love doing vintage hair and I do house calls, salt lake area only. This finger wave 20's up do I did on Saturday is adorable. I took smaller parting for tighter curls for better s wave. Watch for our video on you tube. This client needed her hair to stay all day long. I arrived at 10 a.m her party was later that evening. I took extra steps to ensure lasting hold. I love how my clients hair turned out! Her finger waves were beautiful. We accomplished some amazing volume. I feel so dam proud.
I loved working with Justine, she of course is gorgeous. Justine has a beautiful heart and glowing spirit. I love love these shots she looks like a rag time doll...so adorable. One of my favorites positives in her photo-shoot is when she balanced her legs on the globe it was a fantastic idea. That's another favo pic of mine. I'm so excited to do more roaring 20's themes.
